Growing up, I was always an outdoorsy kid. My Grandfather loved to make photographs with his Nikon EM; a film camera that I still have today. Photography as a passion came to me by
surprise many years later, back in March of 2008, when a friend let me try shooting with her DSLR camera. Since then photography has been a creative outlet for me, and something I enjoy more
than I ever thought possible.
Photography has highjacked my vision. Each day I visualize concepts, seeing the world as if looking "through the lens."
Photography has also changed me as a person, helping me find – in the words of National Geographic Photographer, DeWitt Jones–"What's right with the world."
