Wade Sutherlin Artist Statement

Photography quickly became an obsession. It's a creative outlet for me. I've explored and photographed so many beautiful places. Photographs are unique in the world of art in that they can transport you - take you on a sort of journey. When well made, photographs can make an emotional connection with the viewer. It's my hope to connect the viewer with the natural world. If my images can inspire just one person to care enough for our natural and wild places to support conservation efforts for them, I have succeeded.
